For the first time in history the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup was held in Lithuania. The tournament took place between 12 September and 3 October 2021. It was truly a unique event. More than 1 billion people around the world tuned in to watch the competition. According to FIFA, the games were broadcasted in 195 countries, ranging from Japan and Australia to the United States.
It was a large and complex project that not only required serious planning but also proved out to be a huge success. The KTS OB facilities and production team covered all games in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. A set of 11 cameras, incl. 2 Super Slow Motion, 7 box lenses, 4 Replay Systems were used. Our team exceeded everyone’s expectations and received many compliments. We are honored to have been chosen to capture this incredible 11-day competition.
