OB1 newly upgraded to HD

Our biggest OB van has just been upgraded to Full HD format. OB1 has now 8 HD cameras onboard (7 HXC-100 an SSM camera LDK8300). For more technical specs please visit this page.

The Voice of Lithuania

KTS has signed the contract to film the whole season of well known show "The Voice of Lithuania". OB1 and OB2 teams successfully filmed 1st and 2nd rounds (10 cameras, box lenses, multi cam recordings to video server). From April 8th 2012 KTS will broadcast LIVE the 3rd final round of this show (12 cameras, 3 box lenses, 7 wide angle lenses, wireless camera, etc.).

Luge World Cup 2012 in Sigulda

February 18-19, 2012. TV production of luge Viessmann World Cup #8 & World Cup Team Relay #6 in Sigulda, Latvia. OB1 with 20 cameras, 3 box lenses, wireless camera, 3 EVS's, SSM system installed. More than 8 kilometers of cables were laid down.

Horse race in extreme conditions

On the 4th of February KTS OB1 team filmed horse race on ice competition in extreme weather conditions. During the rigging time in the early morning it was -30 ° C. The event called "Sartai 2012" is an annual international horse race on ice held in Lithuania from 1905.

On the 8th of January 2012 OB1 team has made LIVE TV production of M.A.M.A. Lithuanian Music Awards 2011. Around 13.000 of spectators watched this event in Zalgiris arena and it was broadcasted LIVE on TV3.

TV production setup:

2 * wireless SteadiCAMs (one on Segway);

Telescopic crane on rails;

18 m crane.

Scandalous group SEL won three awards. Please take a look at two different versions of the song "Lauzau standartus". Both were earlier filmed by KTS.

FIBA EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania

In August-September 2011 KTS broadcasted LIVE 1^st round games of FIBA EuroBasket 2011 Lithuania. OB1 and OB2 crews worked in two cities Siauliai and Klaipeda, producing 3 games/day each. In total 30 games were broadcasted LIVE for FIBA Europe.

European luge championship in Sigulda

In January 2010 KTS made TV production of European luge championship in Sigulda, Latvia. It was a big challenge for our team, with temperatures staying at -25° for a whole week. A joint production of two OB trucks provided 24 cameras. A total of 4700 meters of cables were laid down.

Euroleague Top 16
